It will be directed by Marc Webb, who has previously proved his skills with (500) Days Of Summer and The Amazing Spider-Man 2.

The script will reportedly revolve around an “enigmatic stranger (Depp) and a bartender (Sweeney) mourning the loss of her lover.” American screenwriter and film producer Zach Dean of the Deadfall, The Tomorrow War, and Fast X fame will be writing the script.
Johnny Depp and Sydney Sweeney will be seen exploring “love, friendship, and revenge,” and one can only imagine their sizzling chemistry on-screen.

But a source by Discussing Films now claims that the rumors are false. A representative of Sydney Sweeney has confirmed to the publication that she is not a part of any such film. Netizens were super pumped but are now heartbroken over the latest update.
