Undoubtedly, one of the biggest fictional world in all of the pop-culture is that of Star Wars. The fandom of this great fictional world has only grown and evolved. There have been a plethora of different tributes to the galaxy far far away, ranging from entire feature films to smaller fan-made tributes. However, the latest entry from a Twitter user @OmarVillegasLA takes the cake.
The video shared by the Villegas has gone viral on social media and it’s for good reason. In May of this year, the twitter user shared a video, compilation of moments from Disney’s Star Wars films with various sound effects from the beloved rapper and actress Cardi B. The clip went viral and has amassed 1.7 million views on Twitter as of this writing.
As a matter of fact, this isn’t the first time that Villegas has shared a mash-up of Cardi B and Star Wars. He shared Cardi B x Star Wars video in 2018 an went viral on social media. It seems he’s taking isolated sounds from her songs and just putting them over Star Wars clips.
