American actress Naya Rivera was confirmed dead on July 13 after her body was found on Lake Piru, days after the news of the disappearance. The autopsy report of Naya confirmed that the cause of her death was an accidental drowning.
While the fans, relatives, friends and colleagues are mourning the death of Naya Rivera, the family has finally opened up and has issued an official statement.
As per the Hollywood Life report, Naya Rivera’s manager Gladys Gonzalez released the statement on the family’s behalf which read as saying, “We are so grateful for the outpouring of love and prayers for Naya, Josey and our family over the past week,” the statement read. “While we grieve the loss of our beautiful legend, we are blessed to honor her everlasting legacy and magnetic spirit. Naya was an amazing talent, but was an even greater person, mother, daughter and sister.”
