Her temper tantrums & aggression has often landed her in a soup. This time, super model Naomi Campbell has found herself on the wrong side of law in Italy. A Sicilian court has found Campbell guilty of assault after being accused of scratching the eye of a paparazzo photographer when she clicked her with a former boyfriend while on vacation. The court has given her a six months suspended sentence.
Gaeteno Di Giovanni was photographing Naomi with Russian boyfriend Vladimir Doronin in 2009, while the couple were taking a walk. Naomi hit him with her handbag. The attack damaged his eye and he needed immediate medical treatment.
While the 45 year old model & the photographer Giovanni had reached an out of court agreement some time back, Sicily’s public prosecutor pursued the case & ordered trial in public interest.
Naomi’s lawyers insist that she will appeal in a higher court. Campbell has a history of tantrums.She was ordered by a British court to take anger management classes after she hit her assistant with a mobile phone. She has also admitted to hitting police officers at Heathrow Airport, London over some lost luggage in 2008.
