While the film has seen numerous delays and date shifts, the latest update is that the studio giant Disney has decided to release it on their platform Disney+ directly. It was recently when Disney announced an indefinite delay in the release of Mulan, due to the pandemic still strong in various parts of the globe. The latest news says that Disney will release it on Disney+ directly. For the countries that do not have access to the platform, it will release in theatres.

Now the twist, as per Variety, Mulan will not be automatically available for the subscribed users. Even for the ones who own the subscription, they will have to buy the film for $29.99 on Disney+. This is said to be Disney’s newest strategy and it comes at a time when movie theatres stand closed.
