According to the latest episode of the ‘Celebrity IOU’, singer Michael Bublé gifted a Pinay named Minette, a new completely renovated house in Canada so she will not have to pay rent anymore and have the complete house to herself. Minette has worked with Michael Bublé’s grandfather for eight long years.
Michael Bublé expressed how this is what his grandfather would have wanted and he would have been the happiest about it. “I think my grandpa would be thrilled knowing that we could maybe lessen the burden a little bit in allowing Minette to continue helping her family without it being so hard on her,” he said.
As per Michael Bublé, Minette who has been close to his family has always sent a major chunk of her earnings to the Philippines, where her family resides. Talking about her the singer shared how she is compassionate, full of life, humorous and never have really done anything for herself.
He recalled, how his grandfather was fond of Minette in no time as first he was against the idea of hiring a nurse. He expressed how she instantly became family.
Michael Bublé spoke how the property that he gifted was built by his grandfather with his hands and it is super close to his heart. He learnt music there and the biggest moments of his life happened there. He decided to gift it to Minette as his granddad would have loved her to stay in it.
In the course of the show, Minette was tricked that they were shooting a documentary so she doesn’t have a clue. And when it was revealed to her, she broke into tears in no time. She said, “It is so much, really, really so much. I have no words right now. It hasn’t sunk in yet. It’s beautiful, beautiful.”
