Mark Ruffalo has been associated with the Marvel Cinematic Universe for over ten years. The actor made his MCU debut in 2012 with Joss Whedon’s The Avengers as Bruce Banner, aka Hulk. He replaced Edward Norton as the scientist/green monster with anger issues. The franchise fans instantly fell in love with Mark’s performance as the superhero.

After The Avengers, Mark has appeared in many MCU movies like Avengers: Age of Ultron, Thor: Ragnarok, Avengers: Infinity War, and Avengers: Endgame, and in mid-credit and post-credit scenes of several films. He also played a supporting character in the Disney+ MCU series, She-Hulk. However, the actor and the character didn’t get a solo superhero movie. Edward got a solo Hulk movie, but the franchise didn’t have full rights to the character back then.

Many prominent superheroes, even Jeremy Renner’s Hawkeye, got solo movies or series. So, will Mark Ruffalo’s character ever get his own film? The actor recently gave an interesting answer to this. In an interview with GQ, the Poor Things actor shared, “I’d love to do a standalone Hulk; I just don’t think that’s ever going to happen. It’s very expensive if you did a whole movie, which is why they use the Hulk so sparingly. I priced myself out!”
