Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt were a couple that made everyone smile. The duo have flourished massively in their respective careers. Not just that, it’s like best of both worlds meeting and making it all appear dreamy. However, the happiness lasted only 5 years.
For the unversed, the FRIENDS actress and Brad Pitt got married in 2000. Things were smooth until they hit a rough patch and finally decided to call it quits in 2005. It is said that Brad cheated on Jennifer Aniston. He got attracted to Angelina Jolie on the sets of Mr. & Mrs. Smith. Now, a recent interview is going viral when Jen could be seen speaking about their split and it’s making us emotional.
The interview is from 2008, 3 years post their split. Jennifer Aniston shared to how things have changed post split. She also mentioned to how they have exchanged few hellos post the past years, but they’re in a good place as far as their equation goes.
In a conversation with Vogue, “We had an amicable split… The marriage didn’t work out… Pretty soon after we separated, we got on the phone and we had a long, long conversation with each other and said a lot of things, and ever since we’ve been unbelievably warm and respectful of each other,” said Jennifer Aniston.
What’s more heart-breaking is when she mentioned of ‘forevers.’ The FRIENDS actress shared, “Whoever said everything has to be forever. That’s setting your hopes too high. It’s too much pressure. And I think if you put that pressure on yourself… that’s unattainable.”
All the fans will truly be able to understand she wasn’t completely healed! Unfortunately, her love life has never been long lived. Her 2nd marriage with Justin Theroux too ended within 2 years.
