Popular South Korean singer IU(Lee Ji-Eun)’s agency EDAM entertainment confirms that the popular band will be releasing a new track as well as a new music video in collaboration with Rapper Suga of South Korean Boy Band BTS. IU will be stepping out of her comfort zone for the first time and will experiment with a different style of music.
The BTS rapper Suga took to Youtube live from BTS’ official channel and shared a lot of things with ARMY( The term they use to address their fans). Suga said that he loves to paint and also revealed about BTS’ upcoming plans. Their last album Map of the Soul: 7 as expected turned out to be a huge hit.
Suga stated about the comeback – ”We’re already working on a new album again. Before we started, we decided who was in charge of what. Who would oversee everything, who would oversee the visuals, who would oversee the music—we split that up. We discussed it amongst ourselves and made the decision. ‘A video about that will be released soon, so please watch it.”

Now as per reports in Soompi, The rapper is all set to collaborate with Lee Ji-eun aka IU. Talking about it, her agency EDAM said, “IU will be releasing a digital single on May 6, and she will also be releasing a music video along with her music.”. EDAM also said: “As musicians of the same age, the two singers were able to relate to one another and use that as a foundation for exchanging opinions. They created their own unique synergy, which is reflected in their song.” The single will be released on May 6, 2020”.
Meanwhile, BTS became the first music band in history to receive Quadruple-Million Certification.
