Brad Pitt and Harry Styles were in for a treat when rumours of a collab surfaced online. The exciting part is that it wasn’t for a song but a film. Yes, you heard that right. It was being said that the Hollywood hunk and the One Direction star were coming together for ‘Faster, Cheaper, Better.’
Rumours were sparked after film distributor Vértice Cine made a statement. He claimed that the Watermelon Sugar singer will be seen alongside Brad in ‘Faster, Cheaper, Better.’ Not much information was provided regarding the project, but the announcement was enough to drive the fans crazy.
But it seems all of it was nothing but just a baseless story. In fact, the aforesaid film will not feature either Brad Pitt or Harry Styles. In an interaction with Variety, representatives of both the stars have denied the news. They even termed it ‘inaccurate.’
Faster, Cheaper, Better which was said to be featuring Brad Pitt and Harry Styles is an AI-based film. It revolves around the trucking industry and how Artificial Intelligence is set to ‘transform the world.’
Its synopsis reads, “The story deals with the great and inevitable changes that are coming in the trucking industry, weighing the possibility of an industry without humans onboard the vehicles. The film spans 20 years in multiple locations with intertwined stories of countless characters including a union boss, a young businessman, an inland farm manager, and a tech millionaire whose lives are cut short when the automation and artificial intelligence transform the world as we know it. In the end, everyone must face the meaning of being human.”
We wish Harry Styles and Brad Pitt were collaborating in real. For now, it’s just another dream.
