All the Marvel fans were excited to watch Black Widow this year which was supposed to release on April 30 and May 1 (India). However, due to the coronavirus crisis, the makers have postponed the release date of Scarlett Johansson starrer. Till now, the new release date is yet to be out.
This year, Marvel will have a lot of new series based on the superheroes which will release on Disney+. So, are they planning to release Black Widow on the digital platform too? Well, actor David Harbour would want that to happen. David, who plays the role of Scarlett aka Natasha Romanoff’s father named Red Guardian got us curious with something he said.
Recently, during his Instagram live session, the Stranger Things actor mentioned that if Black Widow releases on Disney+ too, he would watch it for sure. David Harbour said, “I’m very much looking forward to being in Black Widow if we ever are able to release that movie. I would love to be able to watch that movie too – y’know I have not seen that movie. I have seen some stuff in ADR and it looks really good. And also I was there when we were shooting it and I’m really excited about it. But I would like to see it myself. I would watch it on Disney+”.
After David’s statement, we wonder if the makers have planned to release the film on Disney+ or not. No one knows when the COVID-19 crisis will be over as the number of cases worldwide is growing every day!
Meanwhile, directed by Cate Shortland, along with Scarlett and David, the film also stars Florence Pugh and Rachel Weisz. There are reports that Robert Downey Jr will be making a special appearance as Iron Man in the film.
