Popular Musician Steve Hackett has decided to reschedule his ‘Seconds Out Plus Tour’ in UK tour to 2021 amidst the global pandemic of COVID-19. Yes, you have heard it right. This is shocking to learn that the shows which were scheduled to happen in November and December this year are moved to next year owing to lockdown restriction in the UK.
The shows now will take place in September and October next year. Confirming the news, Steve Hackett said, “I’m sad not to be able to play in the UK this year but heartened that the shows are rescheduled. I really live for live performance and very much look forward to exploding ballistically back to life on stage with this extraordinary band for Genesis Revisited Seconds Out & More in 2021!”
The guitarist also made an announcement about eight new shows that have been added to next year’s tour. The Newly added concerts of Steve Hackett would take place in London, Nottingham, Croydon, Poole, Plymouth, Aylesbury, Peterborough, and Harrogate.
“The set features some of the most thrilling Genesis material, this time all numbers played in full, plus additional surprises.” Steve Hackett said.
The good news here is that the tickets that were sold for the 2020 tour will remain valid for the rescheduled dates also. And from the 10th of July, the tickets for new shows would also be available for sale.
Vocalist Nad Sylvan, keyboardist Roger King, bassist Jonas Reingold, Rob Townsend on saxophone and flutes, and drummer Craig Blundell would also join Steve Hackett in the tour. Interested folks can get the details on Steve Hackett’s official website.
