Did you ever wonder why such a talented and versatile actor like him hasn’t done superhero films? Other popular actors like Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr, Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck and many others have played superhero characters. But why not Leonardo DiCaprio? Well, the actor had once answered it.

In an interview earlier with Shortlist, Leonardo DiCaprio said that he hasn’t found a right superhero project yet. He mentioned that he was offered Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man. But he didn’t take the role because he “didn’t feel ready to put on the suit yet.” The actor was offered to play Robin in Batman Forever. But he wasn’t interested in doing it despite saying Joel Schumacher is a “very talented director”.

So will he ever play a superhero? The Shutter Island actor answered, “You never know. They’re getting better and better as far as complex characters in these movies. I haven’t yet. But no, I don’t rule out anything.”

Well, we don’t know when it will happen. But fans are dying to see Leonardo DiCaprio playing a superhero. The day this happens, the film will be a huge blockbuster.
