After a lot of controversies, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil finally hit the screens today. Let me warn you at start itself, this is an out and out Karan Johar affair. Love, heartbreak, drama and beautiful locales easily sums up what ADHM is.

Ranbir Kapoor is seen playing the character of Ayan Sanger, a richie rich MBA student who aspires to be a singer and his love interest Alizeh essayed by Anushka Sharma is a full of life, living in the moment, filmy gal.

The film mainly revolves around Ayan dealing with his one sided love for Alizeh.

Considering relationships is certainly a forte for Karan, the film has its moments of brilliance and will definitely make you well up.

Music by Pritam gives a fantastic backing to this film. While the run time is a tad longer than required, its not like there are dull moments.

A twist towards the end of second half is cliched and could have been avoided. Nonetheless, there is much to love in this ‘one sided love’ affair.

Ranbir nails his character and may remind you of his Rockstar character in flashes. He is a sight for sore eyes so girls get ready to drool over this man who makes crying also look so cute.

Anushka Sharma looks luminous in each frame. She pulls of Alizeh’s character with much grace.

Cameos of Shah Rukh Khan, Lisa Haydon and Alia Bhatt are all endearing.

Fawad Khan’s role is limited but he makes an impact with that too.

Dialogues are completely filmy and some are extremely deep, a good mix of both overall.

Overall, a refreshing take on one sided love. Forget I love you, we are the ‘I Friend You’ generation.
