Eagle and Yatra 2 had an average weekend at the Box Office. They managed to earn a combined business revenue of almost 21 crore. However, there has been a disappointing downward trend. Read more about Yatra 2 and Eagle’s 1st Monday collections at the Box Office.
Yatra 2 and Eagle were bound to see the usual Monday drop, but the film fared lower than the desired levels. Let’s start with each film and its daily collection breakup.
Eagle’s 1st Monday Box Office Collections
While the film opened with 6.20 crore on 1st Friday, it saw a further dip on Day 2 with 5 crore earnings. Surprisingly, the film did not pick up on Sunday, too, thus collecting only 4.85 crore on its 3rd day. As per early estimates, stated by Sacknilk, on its 1st Monday, the movie could manage to make a business of approximately 1.50 crore. Eagle now stands at a net India total of 17.55 crore.
The numbers cannot be termed impressive. A much better business was expected from a film that starred Ravi Teja, aka Mass Maharaja.
Eagle’s worldwide collection
On the overseas front, the movie collected 2.5 crore gross business, which too is quite disappointing considering the mass appeal that the superstar has abroad. The movie has not worked with audiences in India and overseas alike.
The Karthik Gattamneni-directorial’s worldwide gross total stands at 21.25 crore.
Yatra 2’s 1st Monday Box Office Collections
This Mammootty and Jiiva-starrer saw an even worse declining trend at the Box Office. Despite being released a day earlier (Eagle on February 9 and Yatra 2 on February 8), the movie failed to capitalize on the advantage. It collected 2.05 crore on Thursday, followed by 0.7 crore on Friday. Continuing its downfall, Yatra 2 made business of 0.65 crore on Saturday and 0.7crore on Sunday.
After seeing these dismal numbers, not much was expected from Monday’s business. Yatra 2 collected 0.53 crore on its 5th Day, i.e., 1st Monday, taking its net India total to 4.63crore.
Yatra 2’s overseas collections
The movie has earned 0.75 crore from the international market, and the worldwide gross collection for Yatra 2 stands at 5.6 crore. Surprisingly, the worldwide collections for the movie Ambajipeta Marriage Band, which was released on Feb 2, 2024, are better than Yatra 2. The former has a worldwide gross total of 9.75crore.
