Divya Khosla Kumar, who made her directorial debut with Yaariyan, a youthful and contemporary story about a group of friends, is on cloud nine, especially as the film enjoyed a bumper opening as it hit silver screens across the country on Friday. After a stupendous opening day reports, Yaariyan managed to collect approx 5 crores on Day 2, as per early estimates.
The movie now stands at a domestic total of about 11 crores at the Box Office. Yaariyan, which boasts of a fresh star cast and hit music, has won countless hearts across the country, which has been proved by the fact that the film’s morning shows occupancy was around 75 percent today.
