The Amazing Spiderman 2 had a good first day at the Box Office in India. The film released with quite a lot of hype and had a good opening day. The movie, that released on Thursday, collected 7.50 crores on its first day in India. Considering that it was a holiday, the film was expected to perform well.

With a slight drop on its second day, the film raked in 6.50 crores on Friday in India. With this, the India collections for this film are 14 crores which is a good two day total.

The Amazing Spiderman 2 had one the widest Hollywood release ever in India. Being a superhero film, it was expected to get a good footfall over the two days considering that the school and college exams have ended and vacations are on for most students. The film had generated much hype as the first part of the film too was successful enough. The weekend is expected to bring in good numbers for this superhero film as there is no competition from Bollywood this time around!
