There was a good jump in collections seen for Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya as the sci-fi rom-com ended up collecting 10.50 crores on day 2. Given the kind of trending that was already being witnessed on Friday evening and night shows when the footfalls had started getting better and better, these numbers are on expected lines.
The need of the hour for the film was to step into double digits, and this eventually happened on Saturday. Of course, had this been the case on Friday itself, then this sort of jump would have set it up even better. However, the fact that it has happened now on the second day, at least after day 1 of 7.02 crores means the target audience is liking the film.
Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon’s Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya is primarily for urban audiences, and as long as they frequent the multiplexes in days to come, the film will be on the right path to score well.̣
