Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya had yet another good day at the box office. On Monday, the film had stayed stable at 2.21 crores and now the drop has been minimal on Tuesday, with 2 crores coming in.
There was a mini-holiday of sorts in Maharashtra on Monday, so the stability on Tuesday across the country is a good sign for the film to keep performing. The Shahid Kapoor starrer has now reached 66.26 crores and in the process, it has now emerged as the actor’s third highest-grosser ever.
In fact, if one looks at his solo starrers then it’s at the second slot since Padmaavat was a multistarrer. The film that it has edged past is R… Rajkumar, which was released a decade ago, whereas Haider and Udta Punjab were surpassed over the weekend itself.
The film will stay on to be at the third spot since Kabir Singh is far away. However, the run that this sci-fi romcom has given a nice push for Shahid since his last theatrical release, Jersey, had unfortunately not worked due to constant delays. One now waits to see how he does in Devaa, as he would certainly be looking at a 100 Crore Club entrant there.
