The Hindi releases of last week, Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya and Jodi Breakers, had taken a dull opening at the box-office windows. While TNLHG made Rs. 1.75 crore (all-India net) on Friday (24 February 2012), Jodi Breakers collected Rs. 1.50 crore on the opening day.
Collections of Ritesh Deshmukh-Genelia D’souza starrer Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya saw a good pickup over the weekend. The film netted Rs. 2.50 crore and Rs. 3.25 crore on Saturday and Sunday respectively. However, as the initial day’s collections were low, the overall weekend collections of the film were on the lower side, a total of Rs. 7.50 crore.
On the other hand, the Bipasha Basu–R. Madhavan starrer Jodi Breakers saw little rise in collections over the weekend. After collecting Rs. 1.50 crore on Friday, the film added Rs. 2 crore and Rs. 2.50 crore on Saturday and Sunday respectively. The film’s all-India net collection for the weekend stands at Rs. 6 crore.
