The two new releases this week, Tere Bin Laden – Dead Or Alive and Aligarh have taken a low opening occupancy for the morning shows. Both the films seem to be low on buzz.
Also, Aligarh unfortunately didn’t even have many morning shows at multiplexes in the metros. The film being based on a sensitive issue like homosexuality will not have many takers and will cater to only niche audiences.
Tere Bin Laden – Dead Or Alive on the other hand is a sequel but lacks the star value to drive audiences to the theaters. The film will have to gather a good positive word of mouth to soar over the weekend.
With last week’s Neerja still dominant at most theaters, the two new films are expected to stay low.
