Ajay Devgn is waiting to bounce back at the box office. After witnessing a failure with Bholaa, all eyes are on his latest release. It is to be seen whether the actor manages to revive his successful run in 2024 or faces another blow. So far, everything looks in favor, and there is a high chance that his film will pass with flying colors.
Shaitaan Day 1 Morning Occupancy
As per the trade reports, Shaitaan registered a morning occupancy in the range of 17-20%. This is a good number, considering the genre is a horror thriller. The numbers are expected to get better during the evening and night shows.
Shaitaan is also enjoying a partial holiday across the nation due to Mahashivratri. That shall further improve the collections for the day. After impressive pre-booking sales, expectations are that spot bookings will further amp up the game, leading to a start beyond predictions.
Shaitaan Advance Booking Collection
The advance booking collections witnessed a big jump on Thursday, and the closing numbers came a bit closer to Ajay Devgn’s big success, Drishyam 2. Shaitaan added a total of 4.20 crores gross (excluding blocked seats) via advance booking collections for day 1.
This is only 17% lower compared to Drishyam 2’s pre-booking sales of 5.10 crores on the opening day. Remember that Drishyam 2 had a sequel factor working in its favor.
