Distributed internationally by Zee Studios International, the film has collected USD $ 117.66 million (759.92 crores) at the Chinese box office. Post Dangal phenomena, this is Aamir Khan continuous super-hit in China. The actor with these 2 movies has left his starry presence in China too.
Secret Superstar released in India on Diwali on October 19. Vibha Chopra, Head – Zee Studios International (Film Marketing, Distribution, and Acquisition), said about Secret Superstar‘s worldwide dominance: “Secret Superstar is a film that is bound to connect with many hearts. Zaira has done a wonderful job holding this film together and doing well in markets that are considered unconventional.”

In Secret Superstar, Zaira, who hails from Kashmir, plays a teenage girl named Insia who dreams of becoming a singer. The film is about how she fulfils her dreams by keeping her identity hidden.
Recently Aamir was celebrating the day of love by listening to his favourite romantic number Pehla Nasha from the movie Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar. Later, he came up with a video on his first brush with love.
“Believe it or not, I fell in love for the first time when I was 10 years old… Very few people know this. I had joined tennis coaching and there was a group of 40-50 children there. There was a girl who was a part of it, and I was stunned to see her. It was pehla nasha when I first saw her.”
