Akshay Kumar starrer Rustom took a fantastic opening at the domestic box office. The film took an opening of 14.11 crores at the domestic box office. This is the second highest opening for Akshay Kumar after Housefull 3 this year.
The film has taken a great start in the overseas circuits too. It managed to make a collection of $1.24 million on the opening day. Akshay enjoys a good fan following in the overseas markets and looks like the film opened specifically well in gulf markets.
