Raanjhanaa has been another surprise. No one would have thought that the Kolaveri man would have his audiences impressed! Dhanush and Sonam Kapoor both performed phenomenally well in the film and luckily for them it has paid off well. On its second Friday Raanjhanaa earned 2.25 crores, taking the film’s total earnings to 36.25 crores at the Domestic Box Office.

With changing Bollywood trends, a greater inclination can be seen towards romantic films this year which is a plus for Raanjhanaa. Anand L Rai shows a wonderful and fresh angle towards unrequited love that blooms in the beautiful city of Benaras!
