Raanjhanaa: 1st Week Overseas Box Office Collections

By the end of its first week Raanjhanaa has summed up its overseas total at INR 7.13 crores. Going by the fact that little has been done for the film’s publicity in the global markets, the performance is fabulous.

Set in Benaras, the story of unrequited love which reeks of Indian sensibilities, it is a surprise that the film has been doing so well overseas. Perhaps the wonderful performances of Dhanush and Sonam Kapoor, as well as the film’s brilliant supporting cast has worked in its favor.
