Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchpan and Irrfan Khan starrer Piku started off on a decent note at the domestic box office. The film was showing an average occupancy in the morning but it picked up in the evening shows. Piku has collected 5.5 crores at the domestic box office.
The film has received amazing responses from the critics. It has performed its best in Mumbai and Pune. Multiplexes have been performing good and the emotional drama has started off as expected. The first weekend collection is expected to be around 15 crores at the domestic box office.
