Akshay Kumar in a still from OMG Oh My God! Movie

OMG Oh My God has seen a remarkable growth over the weekend. The movie which made 16.60 Crores on it’s 1st weekend at the domestic box office made another 4.50 Crores as per early estimates on its 1st Monday. The movie now stands at a total domestic box office collection of 21.10 Crores.

OMG Oh My God had a pretty poor opening but it seems the movie has more than just made up for it. Having been made on a small budget, it is sure to emerge a hit pretty soon.

Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal have come up with a family comedy after a long time in Bollywood, and this is undoubtedly being liked by many.

The collections are expected to spike up again on Tuesday thanks to the National Holiday for Gandhi Jayanti. OMG is sure to make in the likes of 5 Crores even on Tuesday. Seems the slow and steady is going to win the race. After the disastrous box office journey of Joker, this has to be a huge reliever for Akshay.

  1. OH MY GOD! What a movie…..Just seen Oh My God and it rocks.
Akshay has the balls to make such a movie and Paresh the grandeuer to carry it off.
And yes Akshay Kumar in the silk dhoti and flute is the best Krishna we have ever seen.
The Mere Nishan song was beautiful and wish it went on and on…The movie was thoroughly
engrossing , entertaining and exhilarating. Mithun Chakravarthy as the spiritual guru is
splendid and people are bound to keep guessing the reference. Om Puri and Mahesh Manjrekar are
such classic actors but have limited contribution. The Go Govinda song is fun with Prabhudeva
and Sonakshi jazzing it up. It just made my day.Mere Nishan song is beautiful and embodies the
spirit and essence of the movies .I have not seen a movie like this in the last few years where
I have walked out been illuminated spiritually with the proceedings in a
movie. On second thoughts I don’t think I have ever been not to this extent
at least. Totally a splendid movie …if you miss it will be and invaluable los
