This week’s release, Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl, which would end up earning around Rs. 17-18 crore from sale/exploitation of satellite, audio and video rights. Given its total cost (of production, promotion and release) of Rs. 25 crore, the recoveries from non-theatrical sources is truly huge.Hence, the film will end up as a plus fare in spite of the fact that it will not have a long run at the cinemas.
