Bethlehem Kudumba Unit recently secured the title of industry hit in Kerala. The film surpassed Vaazha 2 at the Kerala box office to claim the title. However, this has also led to Mohanalal’s 39-year streak to break. For nearly 4 decades, Mohanlal’s film was a consistent fixture among the top 3 highest-grossing films in Mollywood.

With Bethlehem Kudumba Unit taking over the industry hit title in Kerala, Thudarum took the 4th spot on the list. This is the first time the Malayalam film superstar has not had a film among the top 3 grossers in Kerala. The superstar also has the most 100-crore films in Malayalam and is undoubtedly the biggest box-office star in Malayalam cinema.

Currently, Mohanlal’s 2025 release, Thudarum, is at the fourth spot on the highest-grosser list in Kerala.
