Looks like Hindi Medium is back on track at the China Box Office. After witnessed a small dip on Friday, the satire drama starrer came back with a bang, as it inches closer to the 200 crore mark with each passing day.
On Sunday, the Irrfan Khan and Saba Qamar starrer collected $1.20 million at the China Box Office, similar to its Saturday collection of $1.41 million. But the film has, against all odds, managed to pull itself back up, collecting more than double of its Friday collections the very next day. The film has earned a total of $29.42 million (192.58 crores) so far during its run.
The film is a satirical take on the current state of the Indian education system and the prejudice faced by people that are not so fluent in English. It follows the story of 2 parents who wish to get their daughter accepted into a top English medium school and the hardships that they face along the way.
