Himmatwala couldn’t show any escalation in its business on its 1st Tuesday at the Domestic Box Office. The movie was in fact rock steady and as per early estimates it collected 4.10 Crores, taking its 5 Days domestic total to 39.60 Crores at the Box Office.
The movie made a decent business in the morning and afternoon shows in single screens as well as multiplexes. The collections would have been better further, but the occupancy dropped in evening and night shows due to IPL Opening Ceremony.
Well, this was just the beginning. The IPL matches, without fail, has been affecting the box office business of movies resulting in decline in its collections for the evening shows. Himmatwala business too may get affected in the coming days due to the IPL matches.
