Highwayon its opening day at the box office earned in the range of 3.75 crores as per early estimates. The film that released this Friday recorded the best occupancy amongst the releases from this weekend. The film basically fared well in the top urban centres and multiplexes. Releasing in only 700 screens across the country, the numbers are just about adequate.

In cities like Bangalore, Delhi, Gurgaon, Mumbai the film performed well on the first day. The income might see a swift rise over the weekend but the film hasn’t received an overwhelming response from the critics and that might be deterring for any further growth of the venture.
