In its third week, the film is still running at around 800-900 screens. Considering that the film is a family entertainer, it has been getting good responses at the multiplexes. In spite of competition this week from the new release The Shaukeens, this film has remained steady and continued to pull audiences over the third weekend.

  1. King khan is losing his hype ……inspite of 900 screens on this Saturday. the film could manage to make business about 1.5 crore…..

  2. Jai Ho was not a flop film. It was made at a cost of near 40cr with publicity and promotion it cost them 50cr. It would have been a blockbuster had looser Sohail not sell the film at 100cr. Having an overconfident brother cost Salman a blockbuster. However, it can’t be considered a flop becuase distributors recovered costs and the Producer made 50cr profit. Just because every film is collecting 100cr doesn’t mean Jai Ho only collected 110 cr in India so it is a flop.

Kick on the other hand released a few months later collected 240cr in India. Salman answered his critics well in the same year.

HNY though having a big star cast and a big banner surprisingly can’t even collect 200cr. I thought people were claiming that HNY will be the first film to collect 300cr. What happened??? Oh well, I guess we can say anything in the free world.
