Gaami has done exceedingly well over the first three days of its release, earning an estimated 9.10 crore net in India. The movie earned 4 crore on the first Friday, followed by 3 crore on the first Saturday. As per early estimates, the movie earned around 2.10 crore on its third day, taking its opening weekend net India total to 9.10 crore. Fans are appreciating Vishwak Sen’s acting as Aghora in Gaami. Chandini Chaudhary, Abhinaya, and Mohammad Samad played key roles in the movie. It has done a business of 3.5 crore in the overseas box office. Gaami’s worldwide earnings now stand at 14.23 crore. Bhimaa’s 1st weekend Box office collection
Directed by A Harsha, Bhimaa features Tottempudi Gopichand, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Malvika Sharma, Vennela Kishore, and Nassar in key roles. Bhimaa did not fare as well as its competitor, Gaami at the box office. Gaami was praised for its stunning visuals and technical skills and brought in huge collections, while Bhimaa received mixed reviews from the first show, which impacted its opening.
Despite getting a mixed word of mouth from the first show, Bhimaa managed to earn a total of 2.90 crore on Day 1 (1st Friday), followed by 1.90 crore on Day 2 (1st Saturday) and 1.70 crore on Day 3 (1st Sunday). The final collections are yet to come in, but the estimated box office collections of Bhimaa so far stand at 6.50 crore net India. Bhimaa collected maximum business in B and C centres in India.
From the international arena, the movie added another 1.2 crore and stands at 8.87 crore worldwide gross total. Despite the director opening the film with a routine story, Bhimaa still proved to be a decent box office performer. Trade circles say that if word of mouth was good, Bhimaa could have easily touched the 10 crore mark.
Overall, Bhimaa’s box office collections were not as impressive as the makers would have hoped for, but it still managed to hold its own against its competition.
