Second release of the week, Freaky Ali, arrived at 1200 screens. The film has taken an opening of 2.55 crore. Again, anything over 3 crore would have given this Nawazuddin Siddiqui starrer a much better platform to rise on.
That said, it is not a goner either as the Sohail Khan directed film again belongs to ‘word of mouth’ category.

Just like Baar Baar Dekho, this too has seen mixed reviews and audience feedback coming its way. If it grows further and somehow manages to have a weekend of around 8 crore plus, one could look forward to what the weekdays have to offer.

Overall, Bollywood is still waiting for a major Friday for itself as the overall collections were under 10 crore, which is way below the capacity 30 crore plus) that was available for both Baar Baar Dekho and Freaky Ali.
