Fighter has completed 25 days at the box office, and on its 25th day, it managed to top the 2 crores mark all over again. The film still has some steam left in it, and hence, footfalls are being generated at some properties.
The showcasing is just apt for the film. While it’s surrounded by countless romantic films now, courtesy Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya as well as a re-release of quite a few romantic films like Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, Jab We Met, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Dil Toh Paagal Hai, Mohabbatein and more, it’s the only action film playing.
On Sunday, the film brought in 2 crores*, which is good since it is double of what it had brought in on Friday. When a trend like this takes place, weekdays are assured to be stable as well.
Of course, the film is currently playing on the lower side, which means one can’t expect big bucks to keep flowing. However, a stable run is guaranteed for it in weekdays to come and around 2.50 crores more appear to be in the pipeline.
That should help the film go past the 211 crores mark in four weeks, what with its current total standing at 208.50 crores*. The Hrithik Roshan-starrer achieved its first major milestone of entering the 200 Crore Club, and now, with a few more crores already been added to its total, a lifetime in the range of 215-220 crores would be a satisfactory final outcome for it.
