Christopher Nolan is one of the most credible filmmakers across the globe. The content he delivered over the years, has earned him a loyal fan base. Out of his great piece of works, one name that always strikes our mind is Interstellar. It featured Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, and others in key roles.
Described as a modern-day classic by the fans, Interstellar opened to positive reviews from the critics. The film was even loved by the ticket paying audience. On the commercial front, the film made $677 million globally. On IMDb, it has a rating of 8.6 out of 10. Every department of the film was praised, but it wasn’t all ‘bling-bling’ journey for the team during the making.
During filming one of the scenes set in Iceland, actress Anne Hathaway suffered hypothermia. The reason behind it was, that her astronaut suit was left open while shooting the scene in the extremely chilled water. It is learned that Anne spoke about the same with Nolan. As per the filmmaker, she was only five minutes away from dying. But she still continued in such conditions.
