Even though Friday was a partial holiday and Crew had managed to collect 10.21 crores, the film saw further growth coming its way on Saturday. Had the numbers managed to stay around the same mark, that too, would have been good. However, those extra numbers which have come in on Saturday are a testimony to the fact that the film has indeed been liked by the audiences.
With 10.87 crores more coming in, this Tabu, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Kriti Sanon starrer is now all set to have a very good weekend. Today, the film will grow further, and even if a couple of extra crores come in, it will be good enough. Moreover, to have an entire weekend made of double-digit scores on each of the three days is indeed notable, and all of that has been made possible by the first-day push, which really helped the word of mouth to start spreading. Otherwise, without the partial holiday, the first day would have been around 8 crores.
Crew has now already collected 21.06 crores and the opening weekend is set to be in the whereabouts of 33-34 crores. That would be simply fantastic as it would continue to hold its stance amongst the Top movies of the year from the box office standpoint. Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya had netted 29.55 crores in its opening weekend, and Crew is set to go past that mark after its opening weekend. That, too, was a Kriti Sanon starrer and has to date enjoyed long legs in theatres. Now, Crew would be expecting to do the same as well.
