In just days, the domestic total of the Disney/Pixar movie has hit the $8.98 million. It will soon hit the $10 million box-office cume in North America during the re-release. The film’s overall domestic total is $253.06 million.

According to Box Office Mojo‘s report, Cars has surpassed the box office total of Despicable Me in North America. For the unversed, Despicable Me is the first film in the popular franchise. The franchise began in 2010 with Despicable Me, followed by three sequels and three spin-off prequels based on the Minions.
