After a good weekend at the Box Office, Brothers collected 6.23 crores more on 1st Monday. As a result, the Karan Malhotra directed film now stands at 58.31 crores after four days.
Compared to 15.2 crore that the film had netted on its opening day, there is a drop in collections for sure. In order to end up with an overall healthy first week, Brothers would have to stay consistent at least at this level on day by day basis so that 75 crore can be touched before the kick-start of the second weekend.
Currently, there is no competition in theaters and the Akshay Kumar and Sidharth Malhotra starrer has a stage open for it to bring in footfalls. Drishyam, Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Bahubali are still running in theaters but are collectively making 2-3 crore on a daily basis. In comparison, Brothers has the majority of screens available for itself to enjoy major share of occupancy.
From today onwards, the picture would be further clear on the kind of run that Brothers would eventually enjoy in theaters.
