Avengers: Endgame Encore India Box Office Day 2: Marvel’s Re-Release Scores Bigger Than 3 New Hollywood Films Combined

Marvel re-released its film Avengers: Endgame in theatres this Friday. The Encore version includes additional footage that connects it to the upcoming film Avengers: Doomsday. The film also has a special end-credits scene that was not part of the original release. The re-release has seen a stellar performance in India and is competing to surpass other release records in the country. The Marvel re-release had a strong start at the Indian box office and maintained momentum on Day 2. With an impressive show count of 3,600+, Avengers: Endgame Encore earned 7.25 crore net at the Indian box office on Day 1. On Day 2, the film earned 7.65 crore against a show count of 3,700. The film earned the majority of its revenue from its English version, with 5.6 crore, followed by its Hindi and Tamil dubs.

Even Brad Pitt’s latest film, which has been receiving great reviews, had a slow start at the Indian box office. It earned far less than even last week’s debut, Resident Evil.
