Last year, Shah Rukh Khan’s Chennai Express made a commendable business as an Eid release and this time reclaiming his spot Salman Khan is ready with his action drama Kick.
The much-awaited Eid release, Kick starring Salman Khan kick started with its advance bookings in full swing. The film has created enough buzz already and thus the advance bookings for the opening weekend has got overwhelming response, as expected.

Looking at the advance booking reports, the film has already sold out tickets rampantly in the Delhi-NCR region for the morning shows on Day 1, Day 2 and Day 3. Also the evening shows are showing a fast filling rate at multiplexes.

In the UP circuit too, the film is sure to have a good occupancy as the morning shows are sold out and even the late evening slots are already full. With almost 40% of the tickets sold out, the multiplexes of key areas like Lucknow are looking at a bumper opening.
While the North belt occupancy looks good for the film, the urban centers such as Mumbai seem even better. The western suburbs for Mumbai are already showing an excellent occupancy for morning shows since it is already housefull. Mumbai’s South zone too looks full with its morning shows and late evening shows for the weekend already booked. Thus, the metros of Mumbai and Bangalore have already sold off 30% of their tickets. Multiple shows across Pune, Bangalore, Mumbai, Kolkata have been partly booked already and the single screens too are filling fast.
With the maximum ticket rates put up in the range 500-650, like any ticket rates of Biggies’ film, Kick is expected to make a good business.
