When Satya 2 was postponed by a fortnight, it seemed like a blessing in disguise since otherwise it would have arrived in a clutter of half a dozen other films. However, surprisingly the time period made available hasn’t been utilised to the optimum by the makers since the promotion went down instead of escalating.
As a result, despite being a solo release of the week, all depends on the word of mouth for the film. From the opening perspective, it would have to wait till Saturday for substantial footfalls to come in once critic reviews start rolling in. It would be only post that when audience footfalls would see some momentum being gained.

In fact since Krrish 3 is going ultra strong, it would continue to hold on to most of the screens from Week One. Still, Satya 2 can expect a better theatre placement than the kind it would have got two weeks back when it was arriving amidst 6-7 other films.
