The Shah Rukh Khan starrer Fan, which has hit the screens today, has received a very good opening of around 55-60% on an average in the multiplexes across the country.
Though this occupancy is comparatively less than SRK’s previous release Dilwale, Fan has got an added advantage of better screen count (3500), whereas Dilwale released in 3000 screens and a partial holiday.
A good growth in the evening and night shows in multiplexes on account of partial holiday in lot of places is expected.
West Bengal has received a super start, followed by Mumbai and Delhi. Well, Mumbai hasn’t performed as expected so far, however a jump in the second half of the day is definitely on cards.
