Vijay Salgaonkar Beats Bajirao Singham!

Driven by Vijay Salgaonkar’s intense intellectual thrillers, the Drishyam trilogy in four days zoomed past Rohit Shetty’s Bajirao Singham! Singham franchise with three films stands at a total net collection of 511.60 crore at the Indian box office! This celebration is more grand because both franchises enjoy three installments each!

How Drishyam Surpassed The Singham Universe

While the Singham series built its empire on high-octane action across three theatrical releases, the Drishyam series achieved this monumental landmark with steady growth, word-of-mouth dominance, and a massive box office opening weekend with Drishyam 3. As Drishyam 3 continues its phenomenal run across theaters, the gap between Drishyam and Singham will widen further, setting a huge record for crime thrillers in Indian cinema.
