As per the estimated figures which are being quoted, the opening weekend collections of Farhan Akhtar starrer Bhaag Milkha Bhaag is over 32.25 crores. However, the exact numbers are still pending but the film has surely beaten Himmatwala and Shootout At Wadala in its opening weekend run at the domestic box office.

The John Abraham starer Shootout At Wadala had an opening weekend income of 30.80 crores and Himmatwala had earned 31 crores. In a matter of 3 days, the film has smoothly surpassed the numbers of these films. The film has also evicted Raanjhanaa from Koimoi’s Top 10 Opening Weekend list. Raanjhanaa in its first three days had managed 19.90 crores at the domestic box office and now with Bhaag Milkha Bhaag occupying the 3rd position, the film is out from the list.
Bhaag Milkha Bhaag is preceded by the hefty numbers of Race 2 and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani on the list. The positive word of the mouth and Farhan Akhtar’s popularity will enhance the film’s pace at the box office, evoking better numbers in the days to come. Given the film’s huge budget, it is important for it to aim for earning higher inorder to become a hit.
