Barfi! opened to a very positive note, making 8.75 Crores at the domestic box office.
The Ranbir Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra and Ileana D’Cruz starrer has recieved rage reviews by most of the critics. Add to it the positive word of mouth publicity and you get a box office success.
Barfi! is necessarily a multiplex film and as such released on a mere 300 single screens across India. The number of multiplex screens running Barfi! however, is 1300 plus.

The movie has done decent business in all the metros of the country. The 1st day collections can actually be even higher if the night shows went full. Barfi! is expected to see a further rise on Saturday and Sunday as positive word of mouth publicity has made the movie go viral to the masses.
