The advance booking of Bajrangi Bhaijaan opened today and the response, as expected, has been phenomenal. In Mumbai, NCR, Pune, the advance booking is comparable to films like Kick and Chennai Express, but lower than Dhoom 3. However, Bengaluru, Chennai, Kolkata, and Hyderabad have shown comparatively low response so far!
The movie is expected to have a good occupancy on the first day. Coming to overseas, other than UAE, which is Salman’s key region, the movie will also be releasing in Pakistan with the edited version, so we expect a huge chunk of collections from there as well.

At smaller centres and single screens in India, tickets have been selling at a brisk pace too – as good as any big release release in recent times. Quite a few theatres are yet to begin ticket sales.
