Aurangzeb: Opens To An Average Occupancy At The Box Office

Yash Raj Films’ Aurangzeb, starring Arjun Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Rishi Kapoor, Amrita Singh, Sasheh Agha and Prithviraj, released today across the country. The film was expected to have a start of 40%-50% occupancy, that would have found a decent footing for the film since it doesn’t have much for competition.

However, the film opened to an average occupancy, what with just 20%-25% occupancy across multiplexes. The single screens are performing better though.

Nevertheless, being a hardcore slick action-drama, the film will definitely appeal both single screens and multiplexes audience. A good pick-up in the evening and late night shows is expected.

The other release of the week – I Don’t Luv U opened to less than 5% occupancy. The movie got almost thrashed by the critics and with no positive word of mouth publicity, it will obviously not see a good fate at the Box Office.
